The Krishna Group was established in the year 1928 by Late Mr Kasturiranga Setty Meda when he set up Krishna Flour Mills, the Group’s first venture. After the first venture into the Krishna Flour Mills, the group diversified into different industries under his able leadership such as Animal and poultry feed manufacturing, Vegetable oils, Plastics etc.

 

Krishna Flour Mills has for over 9 decades been synonymous with manufacturing high-quality wheat products such as Rawa, Suji, Maida, Atta etc.  Used commercially for biscuits, pasta and snack foods, our products are the preference of the best retailers, restaurants and bakeries. Since our inception, we have used innovation and technology development as a major tool to create a strong, strategically integrated company with quality assets and people.

Our commitment to producing the finest and choicest Rawa led to “Krishna Rawa” being synonymous with high-quality Rawa and even today the most discerning customers in Karnataka ask for Rawa by the name of “Krishna Rawa”.

 

Krishna Flour Mills is currently headed by Mr M.K.Dattaraj, under whose able leadership the group has continued to uphold its commitment to quality and honour the trust that customers have placed in us. It is this very commitment to quality and fair business practices that led to the first collaboration in India with ITC Ltd to manufacture Aashirwaad Atta in 2003 through another group company. Today Krishna Flour Mills manufactures Atta for the world’s largest Food and Agribusiness company Cargill, Inc.

 

With changing times and customer preferences, Mr.Dattaraj led the group's foray into lifestyle retailing through an association with Titan Industries Ltd about 30 years ago. As a testament to Titan’s trust in us, the group today operates 6 Tanishq, Caratlane and World of Titan stores across Bangalore.
